DIOR x Nike 2020 Collab

Update 03.07.2020

If you received the message down below, you can count yourself to the fortunate winners that were able to pick up a pair of the Dior x Air Jordan 1. Otherwise, you probably experienced a fat L like the rest of us. The first sneakerheads and hypebeasts are already proudly presenting their latest grail and celebrating the newest cop. The rest of us only has one option left to buy the sneakers.

On reseller platforms like StockX you are able to get either the Low or High version of the Dior x Air Jordan 1. Obviously, the prices for a pair are pretty insane on there. The Dior x Air Jordan 1 High was sold 32 times already, for a price between 6.800£ and 10.300£.

If you look into it, the price premium isn't really as high as it has been for other collaborations. Nevertheless, it is still absolutely insane that one can buy a car from that resell value. The Dior x Air Jordan 1 Low on the other hand has been sold only six times. A size 11 was purchased for 11.300£ though. If you have some pennies to spare and want to get a hold of a pair, you should definitely check out StockX. We recommend to wait in case of a size 6.5 though, as one offer resides around 1.1 million euros. 🥴

Don't Miss the Crazy Collab of Nike and DIOR

The Nike x DIOR collab will be one of the heaviest releases in recent years. If you really want something from the collection, then you should definitely download our free Grailify Sneaker app. We'll let you know as soon as we have important news about the Nike x DIOR collection!   Update 25.06.2020

It is finally happening friends! One can finally participate in the official DIOR raffle of the DIOR x Air Jordan 1 High or Low. We present you the corresponding link here.

Be sure to enter all the correct information, because it will be compared with your ID-card at the pick-up.

Update 23.06.2020

Finally, there are new pictures and updates on the long-awaited Dior x Nike 2020 collab. According to the latest information, the partnership seems to be ready to start now. The luxury fashion house will soon drop the sneakers through an "exclusive online experience". Unfortunately, Dior has not given an exact release date for this.

On a microsite, buyers can register for a "guaranteed opportunity" to buy a pair (but we simply call it a raffle 😁). The microsite will be split at a later date. Users then enter their preferred model, a selected pop-in store or pop-up pick-up shop and the desired size on that page.

Each user can only select one limited edition Dior x Air Jordan 1. After registration, Dior will notify the selected "winners" via SMS or email after a brief review. To purchase, you will then need a valid identity card and the QR code that Dior will send you.

The apparel collection drops on July 8th and will be available in eight Dior stores. Fans can purchase the collection at boutique locations at Beverly Hills Rodeo, Miami Design District, New York Soho, New York 57th Street, London Selfridges, Paris Saint Honoré, London New Bond Street and Dubai Mall.

Update 17.06.2020

Daniel Arsham introduced the Dior x Air Jordan 1 High on Instagram a few weeks ago and after Arsham has given it a lot of hype, he is now returning with a low version. Daniel was given the limited edition sneakers by Kim Jones and Dior Men's Head Footwear designer Thibo and he immediately presented them on social media.

In the short unboxing clip, we see the Dior x Air Jordan 1 Low, which was made directly in Italy. First, we get a small glimpse of the dark flip box with an “Air Dior" Wings logo, which was specially made for the sneakers. The sneakers themselves are made of a buttery soft and smooth leather. In addition, Jordan Brand and Dior are supplying a co-branded dust bag for the sneakers. Of course, you wouldn’t want to let the shoes gather dust.😉

The grey shade on the overlays is called "Dior Grey" and is a homage to the sky above Christian Dior's parental home. Further down, the collab by Jordan Brand and Dior is reinforced by a transparent blue outsole. Finally, we find a label inside the shoe with the edition number. It seems like Daniel Arsham got the #473.

Update 18.04.2020

The complete Dior x Nike collection has now been split. Besides the sneakers, we now welcome an unusual selection of apparel. Since the unveiling, all sneakerheads are eagerly awaiting new information.

The huge collection includes different pieces, like a premium sweater with an Air Dior emblem on the chest, a bomber jacket, a knitted vest, a shirt with buttons, a tee, a pair of pants, as well as basketball shorts and accessories that probably every hypebeast wants to have.

The clothes will probably drop along with the two sneakers. Since the coronavirus has currently paralyzed almost everything, we cannot guess the exact release date so far. We will stay on it and keep you up to date.

Do not miss the Heavy Collab of Nike and Dior

Update 18.03.2020

Nike, Jordan Brand, and Dior have just given their statement on the raffle/lottery. The big event is to be postponed.  This is their official statement:

In order to guarantee the safety of all, Dior, in accordance with the recommendations of the authorities, and to reinforce the coordination of international action, has decided to postpone the international lottery for the launch of the Air Dior capsule collection, realized in collaboration with Jordan Brand.

This raffle includes the chance to gain access to a global network of exclusive Dior pop-up and pop-in locations, whose openings have also been postponed under current guidelines in order to protect our customers and employees.

A new date for the launch of Air Dior and for the pop-ups dedicated to this unique collaboration will be announced depending on how this situation develops.

Update 10.03.2020

We are getting closer and closer to the release of the Dior x Air Jordan 1 High. Meanwhile, the latest news has just reached us. And, a kind of lottery is about to take place for this hot release. Furthermore, we already know that the High version costs around 2,000 USD and is limited to only 8,500 pairs. The Dior x Air Jordan 1 Low is even limited to 4,700 pairs. Unfortunately, the price of the Low is still not known.

How to Buy the Dior x Air Jordan 1 High

A lottery for the Dior x Air Jordan 1 High will be launched on March 23rd. We will update this post on that day and show you the list for the registrations. The winners will then be drawn by the respective raffles on April 6th.

But, there's still one catch. Only nine stores will be giving away the sneakers. Two of them are located in Europe: one at Selfridges in London and one at Galerie Nikki Marquardt in Paris. If you win, you have to pick up the sneakers at the respective store. You heard that right. The pairs will not be sent out. After the big W, you have to get a boarding pass and then you can buy the sneakers at the pop-up store. So, make sure you sign up for the right raffles.

The registration period for the Dior x Air Jordan 1 Low should start at the end of May or the beginning of June.

Other Options for the Dior x Air Jordan Collab

Those who do not necessarily want to leave the country have other options, of course. You can assume that the sneakers will quickly land on reseller platforms like StockX right after the drop. Such limited drops and unique releases are always in demand. They will probably be well above the retail price.

Update 20.01.2020

Paris luxury fashion house Dior and Jordan Brand’s Jumpman finally launch the finished Air Dior capsule. And, the collection is even bigger than expected! Dior is rather associated with extravagant clothes. That Dior would one day team up with a sports brand to create a collection is something that only a few could have dreamed of.

The new collection from Jordan Brand balances the fancy brand with sporty lines and unites them in the timeless Air Jordan 1. In terms of colour, the clothes are based on the favourite shades of the Dior founder. Soft shades of grey, navy blue, and white meet the sporty Jordan Brand range.

Previously, “only” an Air Jordan 1 High OG was ever considered to be the best. Now, you can also say it’s 100% the same for an Air Jordan 1 Low. Both styles are quite similar. A light white is combined with grey overlays, accented by a black Swoosh with DIOR branding. Furthermore, both silhouettes have a transparent blue outsole.

Don’t miss the release of the Dior x Air Jordan 1 High OG.

Next to the Dior x Air Jordan 1 High OG and Low, there are also clothes dropping soon. Among them are woollen suits, blazers, bomber jackets, hoodies, sweatshirts, shirts, shorts, polos, pants, and accessories.

The release is scheduled for April 2020 at selected Dior stores and pop-ups.

Update 04.12.2020

Jordan Brand has finally confirmed its collaboration with Dior. Because of this, the Dior x Air Jordan 1 High OG is about come out very soon.

"I love to mix different worlds, different ideas - and Jordan Brand and Maison Dior both stand for absolute excellence in their field," says Kim Jones. "In order to bring them together in this special collaboration, you have to suggest something exciting and really new."

Made in Italy and with Dior's highest standards, the sneakers come with premium calfskin leather—the same material that distinguishes the excellence that is distinctly Maison Dior. This also includes the well-known Dior grey colour, which has represented the Parisian company since it was founded in 1947.

In addition, Jordan Brand mixes his famous Wings logo with Dior's name and embosses an "AIR DIOR" branding right on the ankle. The Nike Swoosh is done in Dior Oblique Jacquard, a motif that represents the two industry partners. The same motif is reduced in size by 50% and lasered into the insole.

The first official pictures are already out. But, the release is still about to be announced. According to Nike, the sneakers will be dropping at selected Dior stores worldwide in April 2020.

Original article 11-11-2019

It’s déjà vu, alright. This may already seem familiar to some. In 2017, fans probably saw this exact picture of former Dior chief designer Kris Van Assche. There had been similar rumours at that time, but they never came true. But, maybe that could instantly change now!

Insiders suspect that luxury fashion house Dior and sports brand Nike are releasing a larger collection. Right now, Yoon Ahn is not only the founder and designer of the cult brand AMBUSH, but also the jewelry designer of Dior. A few weeks ago, she showed her unique collection with Converse, so it's not at all absurd that she could be planning something with Nike. It would also be the perfect counter for the adidas x Prada collab, which had recently shown its own teaser on IG.

Are we expecting a Nike x Dior collection any time soon?

At the moment, we’re still awaiting further updates. Hopefully, they get to confirm the release at Dior or Nike. We will keep you up to date and notify you as soon as more info is out. Download our Grailify app so you won’t miss the next news.
