For the first time in almost six years, BAPE and ASICS are teaming up again for a collaboration to release a limited edition GEL-1090. This one gets the signature camo prints and details known from the popular WGM Shark hoodies. The last time we saw a collaboration between the two partners was in 2015, when they took on the GEL-Kayano sneaker.

For the new collaborative project, the two Japanese labels have modified the latest model from ASICS and equipped it with the aforementioned details. The signature camo print makes its presence felt throughout the mesh upper, while olive green suede overlays surround the mudguard and heel. Of course, ASICS' signature Vektor logo is also present and has been placed on the outer sides in an incredibly eye-catching orange. The BAPE shark is again noticeable in the same colour on the inside of the shoe. Double brandings can be found on the tongue, heel, and insoles, which rounds off the entire design perfectly.

Unfortunately, there is no confirmed information about the release date of the limited edition. However, the sneaker is expected to be released soon for a price of around 120€ at both collaborative partners' stores and selected retailers. We will definitely keep you updated, though!
