Balenciaga has designed a new silhouette, and soon, it will be released to the public. The sneaker is called the Balenciaga Runner and will be released for the first time on 16 July, though not at Balenciaga as usual but at Kith. The label will be the exclusive global launch partner for the Balenciaga Runner.

The aesthetic of the Balenciaga Runner is rather unusual. It looks as if the sneakers follow a combination of DIY and deconstructed look. The details on the upper look roughly cut out and do not have a smooth transition. Even on the iconic track soles, you can see raw cuts and some glue residue.

Around the collar, you can see a series of punched-out holes. Underneath, you get light mesh as a base, which matches the cream laces and soles with "Runner" in terms of colour. Finally, each model features Kith and Balenciaga lettering indicating the number of the limited edition, which is 650.

The Balenciaga Runner will be released exclusively in all Kith shops and on Kith.com at 5:00 PM on 16 July, as well as on EU.Kith.com. The retail price is set at approximately €1,090.
