Nike finally shows off the official images of the Air Jordan 1 High '85 "Georgetown". As of this writing, there is unfortunately no exact release date, but an April 2022 drop is expected via Nike SNKRS and at selected retailers.

Jordan Brand often celebrated MJ's alma mater with hip sneakers, but that changed in recent months. Alongside a Nike Dunk Low "Georgetown," images of an Air Jordan 1 High '85 "Georgetown" are now surfacing.

The spiritual reintroduction of the "Be True to Your School" pack with the new AJ1 opens new doors for the sneaker world. The sneaker is made of premium materials and an OG-esque shape. Blue and grey echo the titular theme, with grey hitting the base and blue hitting the overlays.

Exact details on the release have unfortunately not been given, but the sneakers are said to be released sometime in February 2022.

It seems that not only the Air Jordan 6 "UNC" will drop in 2022, but rumour has it that another college-themed shoe will also be released next year. Insiders expect a rare Air Jordan 1 High '85 "Georgetown" in the early months of 2022. Here are the currently known details.

Surely, Jordan Brand will have multiple colourways planned for the new year, but the scope is still unknown. If the leaks are true, we could be looking at a possible colourway as the college-inspired "Georgetown" colourway is said to hit the coveted AJ1.

A first mock-up shows the sneaker in its full-blown form. They are reportedly made entirely of leather and combine a two-tone colourway with grey and navy blue, representing the Georgetown Hoyas. On the bottom, expect a white midsole and colour-matched outsole.

Supposedly, we are still far away from the Air Jordan 1 High '85 "Georgetown". Insiders suspect a drop in February 2022 for about 190€ at Nike and selected retailers. We'll stay tuned for further updates.
