Update 23.11.2021

Ye has been adidas' partner for several years now, and over the last six years, we've learned one thing from the label and the rapper. They love to keep things exciting, and therefore Yeezys can appear at any given moment. Such a surprise drop also took place tonight, as the adidas Yeezy BSKTBL Knit "Slate Blue" suddenly appeared online at Yeezy Supply.

Official images now also show a completely different colourway. The blue Primeknit of the adidas Yeezy BSKTBL Knit "Slate Blue", which was shared in advance in October, is actually in a black and grey hue. Also, the "3D" in the title is omitted. As for the underfoot, however, nothing has changed. The midsoles are equipped with Boost cushioning, and the heel caps are marked in grey.

Unfortunately, the adidas Yeezy BSKTBL Knit "Slate Blue" is already sold out, but you can buy the sneakers on reseller platforms like StockX. A bigger release will take place on December 18th.

Original article 06.10.2021

Looking at the adidas Yeezy timeline, we see a strong evolution in design. Currently, we find the yellow adidas Yeezy Knit Runner "Sulfur" with a lightweight upper and minimalist design at the top. However, the sneaker may already be in second place as a new Hoops model has now been revealed.

It is said to be a new silhouette that takes elements from the adidas Yeezy BSKTBL QNTM and reimagines them for the court. The wavy parts are replaced with a one-piece Primeknit upper, and the cut stretches further up for a sock-like entry.

The first colourway is also a very eye-catching concept. The upper part is in black including the laces, while the middle is mixed with blue. At the bottom, the Boost midsole and the black window of the predecessor are adopted. It is still unclear whether a performance and lifestyle version will drop.
