The 4D technology that makes adidas a strong competitor in the market still is and continues to remain a novelty. New sneakers with this innovative sole are now coming out to the market almost every week. And, this doesn't include the two Pharrell Williams x adidas Futurecraft 4Ds that are still yet to be released.

But, there is one thing that still makes the sneakers less desirable today. The price for a lifestyle runner is simply very high. For many, this is reason enough not to buy the sneakers. Even if the technology exists for half an eternity, the price is not likely to change.

Nevertheless, adidas always manages to release a sneaker that appears to be so well-designed that you will completely forget the price. The new adidas Consortium Runner V2 4D shows an abstract aesthetic with the typical Three Stripes and an asymmetric lacing system made of suede. A green stripe is attached underneath, which has the same colour as the sole.

You can also remove the insole and see the graphics and technical data printed by adidas Consortium. In addition, it comes with a small window where you can view the 4D technology from top to bottom. 

The futuristic midsole comes standard with a grid structure in the typical Aero Green shade, while the outsole has a similar style and rounds off the overall design.

Some retailers have already put the lifestyle runner on the frontline. The release date is December 21st.
