Could adidas and Ye be revamping the popular adidas Yeezy Boost 700? This is a question many sneakerheads may be asking themselves, as this adidas Yeezy Boost 700 High "Wave Runner" has now been uncovered on Instagram. Rumour has it that this Yeezy is a sample, but if the leaks are true, the shoes will be released at some point.

The images are still very fresh, but you can immediately see the shoe’s resemblance to the chunky sneaker. The sample piece will be released in its coveted colourway, as much of the design is derived from the OG, but with a much higher build. More green leather and grey mesh have been added for this.

Other parts of the original OG sneaker remain unchanged. Yellow laces tie up the sneaker, and the surrounding overlays come in black and blue. Finally, light-coloured soles round off the design of the adidas Yeezy Boost 700 High "Wave Runner".
