Nike has confirmed the drop of the Dunk Low "Jackie Robinson" in selected regions. The sneakers will be released on July 19th via Nike SNKRS and selected retailers. Keep an eye on our sneaker release calendar for possible updates.

Previously, we took a look at the GS version of the Nike Dunk Low "Jackie Robinson", but now Nike is releasing the images of the bigger version. Unfortunately, the release date has not been confirmed yet. However, a release on 15 April is suspected.

This year marks the 75th anniversary of Jackie Robinson's major league debut at Ebbets Field on April 15th, 1947, and the Beaverton-based brand is celebrating the occasion with a special version of the popular Dunk Low. We show you first details and the official images of the Nike Dunk Low "Jackie Robinson" here.

The model now comes without leaks or the like. The Nike Dunk Low "Jackie Robinson" has a colour scheme inspired by the Brooklyn Dodgers with a light leather upper as base and blue overlays. Additionally adorned is Jackie's quote, " I'm not concerned with your liking or disliking me...all I ask is that you respect me as a human being."

Other special details include 75th anniversary patches on the tongue, commemorating Jackie Robinson's breaking of the colour barrier in baseball in '47. In addition, his jersey number "42" adorns the heels of the Nike Dunk Low "Jackie Robinson".
